This season he scored 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points in 61 games played. He also added 57 minutes in penalties. His possession numbers were 50.9 percent Corsi and a relative Corsi of 5.4. Those totals are up compared to last season, where he scored 28 goals, 15 assists for 43 points. Over his nine-year NHL career, Kane has played for the Atlanta Thrashers, Winnipeg Jets, and Buffalo Sabres. He has put up 177 goals and 163 assists for 340 career points in 557 career games. No matter where he goes he will be a top 6 player. His goal totals are much higher than his assist numbers. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but he could do with some assists to round him a little better. He has the potential to make a mark on any team he plays for.

Main Photo: 13 October 2016: Buffalo Sabres left wing Evander Kane (9) looks on during an NHL game between the Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres at Key Bank Center in Buffalo, NY.
