Following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/2017\/10\/18\/david-schlemko-undergo-hand-surgery\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hand surgery in New York<\/a> to remove a bone fragment, he has recently been practicing with the\u00a0team and had some conditioning\u00a0stints with the Laval Rocket. The 30-year-old has been out since the start of training camp. Schlemko put up only two goals and 18 points in 62 games with San Jose last year. While Mete performed much better than anyone could have imagined, his youth and experience have caught up with him.
