Each wanted to wait until the tournaments conclusion before talking with him. Seidenberg, however, was not looking to wait and took his first offer with the Isles. Seidenberg is expected to play in a bottom defensive pairing, helping add depth to the Islanders defensive corps.<\/p>\n<p>Due to injury last season, Seidenberg was limited to 61 games. \u00a0He scored one goal, added 11 assists, had a minus one rating, 24 minutes in penalties, and his average ice time dipped below 20 minutes for the first time since 2007-08, when he was a member of the <strong>Carolina Hurricanes<\/strong>. \u00a0Seidenberg is a veteran player with plenty of postseason experience.
