I feel extremely attached to St. Louis and the community.&#8221; (Via @StLouisBlues on Twitter).<\/p>\n<p>General manager<strong> Doug Armstrong<\/strong> had this to say as well- &#8220;We are extremely excited to have Alexander signed for the next four seasons. \u00a0He has developed into one of the League&#8217;s premier 200-foot players and is a key member of our leadership group.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Steen is indeed a key member of the team. \u00a0Since arriving in St. Louis during the 2008-09 season, Steen has played a total of 493 games, scoring 147 goals and adding 208 assists. He has had four 50+ point seasons, including this past season (17G, 35A, 52P). \u00a0Steen is a reliable veteran player who serves as a role model for the Blues&#8217; younger players.
