These sellers may have depth pieces that will help Stanley Cup contenders. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2023\/02\/15\/nhl-rumours-blue-jackets-maintain-high-asking-price-for-defenceman\/\" target=\"_self\">One of those sellers<\/a> is the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/bluejackets\/\" target=\"_self\">Columbus Blue Jackets.<\/a> Today&#8217;s NHL rumours look at teams interested in making a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/korpijo01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-20_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joonas Korpisalo<\/a> trade.<\/p>\n<p>All NHL rumours come from the original source and are subject to change.<\/p>\n<h2>NHL Rumours: Columbus Could Trade A Goalie<\/h2>\n<h3>Teams Gauge Interest in Joonas Korpisalo Trade<\/h3>\n<p><em>Rumour: Sportsnet&#8217;s Jeff Marek said that teams are looking at the Jackets&#8217; goalie as a possible trade piece.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This was revealed during Saturday night&#8217;s Headlines segment on Hockey Night in Canada. The Finnish goalie has recovered the form he had before undergoing hip surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Korpisalo might be 10-10-3 with a 3.14 goals-against-average and a .912 save percentage. However, he has been doing well analytically. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csahockey.com\/csarankings\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clear Sight Analytics<\/a>, the 28-year-old is 1.9 saves above expected. The Finnish goalie also comes cheap at a $1.3 million price tag. This means a team up against the cap that could use goalie depth may make a run at him.<\/p>\n<p>Korpisalo has been great since early December and would be a solid depth add for a contender. This NHL rumour could become a reality. The Blue Jackets would be smart to look into a trade.
