There are not just trade talks, but there are also contract negotiations going on. Talks might get tense between some of the players and their respective teams. The Detroit Red Wings<\/a> are looking to sign their team captain to a long-term deal. Today’s NHL rumours takes a look at an update on the Dylan Larkin<\/a> contract talks. Gap in Dylan Larkin Contract Talks<\/h3>\n

Rumour: Andy Strickland of Bally’s Sports Midwest reports there is a gap of $1 million between Larking and the Red Wings. Detroit is prepared to give the Michigan native $8 million per season. However, the Red Wings captain wants around $9 million per season for his next deal. Larkin’s camp did state that he doesn’t want to leave Detroit.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed Dylan Larkin wants $9 mill per year with next contract. Also believed the best offer from the #LGRW<\/a> has been in the $8m range. Many believe he may not accept a trade w\/o an extension in place. Told he\u2019s not in a rush to leave.<\/p>\n
