NHL Predictions: New York Rangers vs Tampa Bay Lightning<\/h2>\n

A battle of medieval times. The second game of TNT\u2019s doubleheader features a matchup within the Pacific Division. It will be the first time we see Bruce Cassidy<\/a> behind the Vegas Golden Knights bench and a healthy Jack Eichel<\/a> to begin the year. After missing the playoffs last season, Vegas will be looking to get off to a good start. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Kings will get to flash their new weapon as Kevin Fiala<\/a> skates in his first game as an LA King. Drew Doughty<\/a> is healthy, Jonathan Quick<\/a> looked rejuvenated last year, and they brought back the same team from last season. The Kings were a playoff team aiming to prove that was no fluke.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prediction: Golden Knights defeat Kings 3-2<\/em><\/p>\n

New York Rangers vs Tampa Bay Lightning<\/h3>\n

Head to Head: Rangers 0 – 0 Lightning<\/h4>\n

The second of today’s NHL Predictions features The battle of the two Goliaths. After kicking the season off in Prague, the season opens up in North America, featuring the two best goalies in hockey. Igor Shesterkin<\/a> vs Andrei Vasilevskiy<\/a>. Not only that, but this is a rematch of this past year’s Eastern Conference finals matchup. The Lightning took that series win to advance to the Stanley Cup Final,\u00a0<\/span>and the Rangers\u2019 redemption tour begins. <\/span><\/p>\n

Both teams are bringing back the same squads for the most part. The core pieces are all coming back from both sides. A star-studded affair on opening night is great for the fans. The most significant addition to the Rangers is Vincent Trocheck<\/a>. Tampa Bay locked up their core long-term. Tonight’s featured game is must-watch hockey and a great way to kick off the 2022-23 season. Look for it to be a high-event hockey game and a great way to kick off the season.<\/span><\/p>\n
