If there is one team that got better overall, it is the Atlantic Division. Teams such as the Ottawa Senators<\/a>, Detroit Red Wings<\/a>, and Florida Panthers<\/a> sent shock waves through the league. One team that will aim to be competitive based on how they finished last season was the Buffalo Sabres. They may not have made the big splash in free agency this season, but they are expected to go next season. Patrick Kane<\/a> will hit free agency, and the Buffalo Sabres are rumoured to pursue him.<\/p>\n

This would be fun. Patrick Kane was born in Buffalo, New York. As a free agent, he could return to his hometown and play for the city he was born in. A young Buffalo team could use a high calibre talent such as Patrick Kane.<\/p>\n
