The 27-year old scored 27 points last season in the KHL in 58 games, finishing fourth in team scoring. A former fourth-round pick, Auger is a giant, listed at 6-foot-7 and 229 pounds. The sniper scored 40 goals and 77 points in his only year in the WHL. The 20-year old will likely play for the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL in 2017-18.<\/p>\n<p>He also appeared in the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championships for Latvia, playing in six games.
