After being selected in the first round, 22nd overall by the Edmonton Oilers<\/a>, Kailer Yamamoto<\/a><\/strong> may end up back in the WHL this season. That isn\u2019t a bad thing, he still needs to add height and weight to his 5\u20198\u201d 150-pound frame. Another year with Spokane could help provide that.<\/p>\n

He could also have a huge season to where he could potentially post more than 100 points for the first time in his career. For instance, in 2014-15, Kailer put up 57 points in 68 games during his first season in Spokane. He then upped that number to 71 points in 57 games in 2015-16. Last year he really broke out with 42 goals and 57 assists for 99 points in 65 games. So it wouldn\u2019t be too surprising to see him eclipse the 100 point mark and lead the CHL in points, that is if Nico Hischier<\/strong> and Nolan Patrick<\/strong> manage to stay in the NHL this year.<\/p>\n
