Each day, Last Word on Hockey takes a look at the games that are happening and gives our predictions for each one, breaking down head-to-head and other factors that may play in. We also have a featured game of the day, which is considered must-watch TV. Today\u2019s featured game is the Nashville Predators vs Minnesota Wild.<\/em><\/p>\n

NHL Predictions with Nashville Predators vs Minnesota Wild<\/h2>\n

Nashville Predators vs Minnesota Wild<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Predators 3-0 Wild<\/h4>\n

The last time they played each other, Nashville came out on top 6-2 on April 5. Ryan Johansen<\/a> had a hat trick. The Predators won by the same score March 13. Roman Josi<\/a> had a four-point game. Nashville also won 5-2 on Oct. 24. Josi had another four points.<\/p>\n

This is the second game of a back to back for the Predators. They played the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night. Before that, they beat the Calgary Flames<\/a> in a shootout Tuesday. Josi and Matt Duchene<\/a> lead Nashville in points.<\/p>\n

The Wild come into the game on a four-game winning streak. Kirill Kaprizov<\/a> leads Minnesota with 101 points in 77 games. Kevin Fiala<\/a> is next with 82 points in 78 games.<\/p>\n

Both teams are currently in playoff spots, but only the Wild have clinched one. The Predators are currently fighting to remain in a wild-card spot. Nashville needs the win more, but it seems about time for Minnesota to get a win against the Predators this season.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 4-2 Wild<\/em><\/p>\n

Anaheim Ducks vs. St. Louis Blues<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Ducks 2-0 Blues<\/h4>\n

The last time the two teams played each other, the Ducks won 3-2 in overtime Dec. 12. Troy Terry<\/a> had two goals. Before that, Anaheim beat St. Louis 4-1 on Nov. 7.<\/p>\n

This is the second game of a back to back for the Ducks. They played the Los Angeles Kings<\/a> on Saturday night. Before that, they lost their last game against the Kings. Terry and Trevor Zegras<\/a> lead Anaheim in points.<\/p>\n

This is also the second game of a back to back for the Blues. They played the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night. Before that, they won their last game over the Sharks. Vladimir Tarasenko<\/a>, Robert Thomas<\/a> and Pavel Buchnevich<\/a> lead St. Louis in points.<\/p>\n

The Blues have clinched a playoff spot, while the Ducks will miss the playoffs. Like with Minnesota, it seems about time for St. Louis to beat Anaheim.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 3-2 Blues<\/em><\/p>\n

Vegas Golden Knights vs. San Jose Sharks<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Golden Knights 2-0 Sharks<\/h4>\n

The last time they played, the Golden Knights came out on top 3-1 on March 1. Reilly Smith<\/a> had two goals. Before that, Vegas won 4-1 on Feb. 20.<\/p>\n

The Golden Knights won their last game in overtime over the Washington Capitals. Jonathan Marchessault<\/a> leads Vegas with 64 points in 72 games. Chandler Stephenson<\/a> is next with 59 points in 75 games.<\/p>\n

This is the second game of a back to back for the Sharks. They played the Chicago Blackhawks<\/a> on Saturday night. Before that, they lost their last game to the Blues. Timo Meier<\/a> and Tomas Hertl<\/a> lead San Jose in points.<\/p>\n

The Sharks will miss the playoffs, but the Golden Knights still have a chance<\/a> at making it as a wild-card team.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 3-1 Golden Knights<\/em><\/p>\n
