Washington sits comfortably at second in the division standings, whereas Pittsburgh has been hovering around the bottom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Capitals eked out a 4-3 victory over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2021\/11\/11\/rick-nash-to-have-jersey-retired-by-columbus-blue-jackets\/\" target=\"_self\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> on Friday. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/o\/ovechal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Ovechkin<\/a> logged his 742nd goal in that win, catapulting himself to fourth on the all-time goal scoring leaderboard. He has recorded two goals and four assists for six points in the last four games. For the Penguins, COVID has been a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pensburgh.com\/2021\/11\/13\/22778593\/penguins-reunion-with-matt-murray-spoiled-by-covid-19-ottawa-senators-pens-updates\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">significant obstacle<\/a> in recent weeks. Several players, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/crosbsi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sidney Crosby<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/dumoubr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brian Dumoulin<\/a>, have been sidelined by the virus. Three of their most recent games, including a win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2021\/11\/13\/nhl-predictions-november-13th-florida-panthers-vs-tampa-bay-lightning\/\" target=\"_self\">Florida Panthers<\/a>, went to shootouts thanks to stellar performances from goaltender <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/j\/jarrytr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tristan Jarry<\/a>. He has a .929 save percentage and 2.23 goals-against average on the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though the Capitals\u2019 three-game win streak seems intimidating, the Penguins have shown that they are capable of keeping up with any opponent. Tonight&#8217;s matchup will be close, but Pittsburgh has a good chance of walking away with the victory as long as Jarry remains steady.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prediction: Penguins win, 3-2<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h3><b>New Jersey Devils vs New York Rangers<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>Head-to-Head: Devils 0 &#8211; 0 Rangers<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two more Metropolitan teams will play tonight as the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers face off. Both rosters are filled with young, up-and-coming players who have put their talent on display in recent games. In a win over the Florida Panthers, 23-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/f\/foxad01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Fox<\/a> recorded a shorthanded tally, and 21-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/milleka01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">K\u2019Andre Miller<\/a> logged his first goal of the season. For the Devils, first-year forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/merceda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dawson Mercer<\/a> had an assist and two goals through two contests against the Panthers and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2021\/11\/10\/leo-komarov-contract-terminated-islanders\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Islanders<\/a>. Though this game will be competitive, expect the Rangers to get the win.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prediction: Rangers win, 4-3<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h3><b>Vancouver Canucks vs Anaheim Ducks<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>Head-to-Head: Canucks 0 &#8211; 1 Ducks<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tonight\u2019s game marks the second time this season that the Vancouver Canucks and Anaheim Ducks face each other. The first occurred less than a week ago, going Anaheim\u2019s way in a close 3-2 battle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/terrytr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Troy Terry<\/a> scored the overtime goal to put the Ducks over the top, and remained hot with three points in a later win against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/seattle-kraken\/\" target=\"_self\">Seattle Kraken<\/a>. On the other hand, things have not been going quite so well for the Canucks. After falling to Anaheim, Vancouver was defeated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2021\/11\/11\/nhl-predictions-nov-11-late-games-including-vancouver-canucks-vs-colorado-avalanche\/\" target=\"_self\">Colorado Avalanche<\/a> in a 7-1 blowout.
