He has led the Lightning to five Eastern Conference Final\/Stanley Cup Semifinal appearances over the past seven seasons, three trips to the Stanley Cup final, back-to-back Cup wins in 2020 and 2021. He will also serve as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockeycanada.ca\/en-ca\/news\/2022-olym-cooper-to-coach-olympic-team\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">head coach for Team Canada<\/a> at the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p3\"><b>What This Means for the Future<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Cooper is currently the longest-tenured bench boss in the NHL and he will look to extend that streak with the continued success of his Tampa Bay club.
