He will have an AAV or Cap Hit of $2.4 million per season. Condon performed admirably for the Senators after being acquired in an early season trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins. He started his 2016-17 season at training camp with the Montreal Canadiens, but was waived. He was heavily relied upon while <strong><a  target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/a\/andercr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&#038;utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Craig  Anderson<\/a><\/strong> left the team to take care of his wife, Nicholle, during her cancer treatments. Condon was up to the task. He posted a 19-14-6 record with a .914 save percentage; a 2.50 goals against average; and five shutouts.<\/p>\n<p>Condon was an undrafted free agent who played his college hockey at Princeton University. When he finished his NCAA career he signed a try-out contract with Minnesota&#8217;s AHL affiliate the Houston Aeros. He then signed his first NHL deal prior to the 2014-15 season. It was a two-way contract with the Montreal Canadiens and he spent the season with their AHL affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015-16 he won the Habs backup goalie job. When starter <strong><a  target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/priceca01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&#038;utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carey  Price<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was injured, Condon took the reigns and played in 55 games. \u00a0He went 21-25-6 with a .903 save percentage and 2.71 goals against.
