Be sure to check out the other two slate of games today.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NHL Predictions Including Edmonton Oilers vs Montreal Canadiens\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Buffalo Sabres vs New York Rangers<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Sabres\u00a0 1- 2 Rangers<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Buffalo Sabres<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0situation couldn&#8217;t get any worse for the team this season. Not only do they have a handful of crushing injuries, but the Sabres are dead last in the NHL. A dark cloud continues to hover over the Sabres as the team is on a five-game skid without a point and winless during their last thirteen games.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eicheja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jack Eichel<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads the Sabres with 16 assists and,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/reinhsa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sam Reinhart<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads with 11 goals and 19 points in 27 games played. Buffalo currently serves the fewest penalty minutes in the NHL with six penalty minutes per game. However,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=hallta02,hallta01&amp;search=Taylor+Hall&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Taylor Hall<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads his team in penalties averaging 0.8 penalty minutes per game with a total of 22 penalty minutes this season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On the other side of the ice, the\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">New York Rangers<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> currently sit the sixth spot in the East Division with a record of 13-13-4. In New York&#8217;s last 10 games played, the team is 5-4-1, looking to better their record. Arguably a Selke nominee, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/buchnpa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pavel Buchnevich<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> has produced eight assists and five goals over his last 10 games. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kreidch01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chris Kreider<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads the Rangers with 14 goals and 20 points,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/panarar01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Artemi Panarin<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/buchnpa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pavel Buchnevich<\/a> leads the team with 17 assists. New York is averaging 9.4 penalty minutes per game which happens to be the sixth-most in the league. The Rangers have the league third-best penalty kill at 86.6 percent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On the injury side of things, Buffalo may be without\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/cozendy01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dylan Cozens<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0tonight as he is day-to-day with a head injury. Jack Eichel remains out with an upper-body injury and, netminder\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/u\/ullmali01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linus Ullmark<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is out with a lower-body injury. New York&#8217;s\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/shestig01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Igor Shesterkin<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/j\/johnsja02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jack Johnson<\/a> is out due to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2021\/03\/21\/new-york-rangers-jack-johnson\/\" target=\"_self\">surgery<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prediction: New York Wins 5-2<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>[pickup_prop id=&#8221;4325&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Carolina Hurricanes vs Columbus Blue Jackets<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Hurricanes 2 \u2013 3 Blue Jackets<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the Central Division tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes\u00a0will be eager to steal a victory from the Columbus Blue Jackets. Carolina has dropped their last two games during overtime to Columbus decreasing their overall record to 20-7-3. Carolina has 43 points on the season, 10 more than Columbus. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=ahose01,ahose02&amp;search=Sebastian+Aho&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sebastian Aho<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads the Hurricanes with 28 points and shares a three-way tie for most goals scored on the team with 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Forwards\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/n\/niedeni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nino Niederreiter<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and Vincent Trocheck join Aho for most goals scored on the team. Columbus owns the fifth-worst special teams in the NHL. The team has scored just 12 powerplay goals on 78 opportunities to convert a 15.4 percent. With the penalty kill also struggling for a fifth-worst, the Blue Jackets have allowed 20 goals on 74 powerplay chances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bjorkol01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oliver Bjorkstrand<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> currently leads his team with 11 goals, 16 assists and a total of 27 points. Edmonton leads the league in goals scored with 116, Montreal trails by 16 in the category. The Canadiens lead over the Oilers in the season series; but with three straight games on the schedule, things are likely to change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> So far, Montreal has outscored Edmonton 8-5 in the series, 2-1 on the power play and, their two shorthanded goals versus Edmonton&#8217;s one. The Edmonton Oilers have not lost the first period in 10 of the last 11 NHL away games and lead the league in regulation wins with 20.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/draisle01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leon Draisaitl<\/a> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/mcdavco01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Connor McDavid<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> both have six game-winning goals.
