Since there are games postpones, there are only three games today.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NHL Predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Boston Bruins vs New York Rangers<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Bruins 2 &#8211; 0 Rangers<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/bruins\/\" target=\"_self\">Boston Bruins<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/rangers\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Rangers<\/a> are two very different teams. They&#8217;re on opposite sides of the spectrum in terms of placement within the standings. However, they managed to create a mini-rivalry. There were multiple brawls in the last meeting with names like\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lemiebr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brendan Lemieux<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/f\/fredetr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trent Frederic<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0going at it and other surprising matchups between\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/buchnpa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pavel Buchnevich<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lauzoje01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jeremy Lauzon<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The Boston Bruins won their previous meeting 1-0 thanks to Bruins&#8217; breakout player\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/ritchni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nick Ritchie<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The Bruins have\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/pastrda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Pastrnak<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0back to bolster the lineup and increase the scoring exponentially.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/marchbr03.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brad Marchand<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is their leading scorer with nine goals and 20 points on the season. He is always a threat to score, especially with players like the previously mentioned Pastrnak and two-way superstar\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bergepa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrice Bergeron<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As for the Rangers, they&#8217;re going to be strapped for offence, with\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/panarar01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Artemi Panarin<\/a> taking a leave of absence<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0from the team. They&#8217;re going to heavily rely on players like Buchnevich and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/stromry01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryan Strome<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to take the reigns of the offence and control play.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zibanmi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mika Zibanejad<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0has been a letdown for the Rangers this season, only notching a measly two goals and six points in 17 games. After his breakout season last year&#8211;despite being heavily influenced by an unsustainable shooting percentage&#8211;Rangers fans expected a lot of production. If the Rangers want to win against the Bruins and overall, they need Zibanejad to come to life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prediction: Bruins win 4-1<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Los Angeles Kings vs Minnesota Wild<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Kings 2 &#8211; 3 Wild<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/kings\/\" target=\"_self\">Los Angeles Kings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/wild\/\" target=\"_self\">Minnesota Wild<\/a> already have a storied history this season. Only one of their five games has been won by a difference of three or more goals so far. Their first three matchups ended in overtime.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kapriki01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kirill Kaprizov<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211;the Wild&#8217;s leading scorer with four goals and 15 points&#8211;prevailed as the hero in all three of them. Watch out for him and his eloquent skating in the offensive zone. He is extremely good at possessing the puck, and his new linemates\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zuccama01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mats Zuccarello<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/raskvi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Victor Rask<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0have elevated their plays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Their line put up an astounding nine points in their 6-2 drubbing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/sharks\/\" target=\"_self\">San Jose Sharks<\/a> and another five in their win over the Colorado Avalanche. They are great on both ends of the ice, and one defensive lapse will most likely cost the Kings.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eriksjo02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joel Eriksson Ek<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, another breakout player this season for the Wild, has been fantastic both ways as well. He has driven play very well and leads the team in goals with six.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Kings are surprising all of the NHL so far this season. They sit in third place in the Honda West Division, one point below the St. Louis Blues with two games in hand. Kings captain\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kopitan01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anze Kopitar<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0has always been a steady performer for the team, and veteran\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/browndu01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dustin Brown<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0leads the team in goals with 11. Those two, along with goaltender Calvin Peterson have been the Kings&#8217; foundation surprising ascent to the top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prediction: Wild win 3-2<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Colorado Avalanche vs Arizona Coyotes<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Avalanche 0 &#8211; 0 Coyotes<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The night&#8217;s final matchup comes in the form of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/mackina01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nathan MacKinnon<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and company squaring off with comeback kings, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/coyotes\/\" target=\"_self\">Arizona Coyotes<\/a>. Everyone around the league knows MacKinnon&#8217;s pedigree and his two linemates <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/rantami01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mikko Rantanen<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/landega01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gabriel Landeskog<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The stud sophomore\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/makarca01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cale Makar<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> has been elite in every facet so far this season for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_self\">Colorado Avalanche<\/a>, and his ability to walk the tightrope on the blueline has caught the eyes of media and fans alike. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/grubaph01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Philipp Grubauer<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> has been among the best goaltenders in the league this year with a .923 save percentage and 4.31 goals saved above expected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[pickup_prop id=&#8221;4487&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Arizona Coyotes, on the other hand, are not as star-studded as Colorado. They do rank higher than them in the standings with 21 points. However, Colorado still has three games in hand. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/garlaco01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Conor Garland<\/a> is being revered as one of the most underrated players in the league. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kesseph01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Phil Kessel<\/a> looks to be back, as he is tied with Garland for second on the team in goal-scoring with seven. Their leading scorer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/dvorach01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Christian Dvorak<\/a> has made a name for himself in the shootout. Outside of his slick hands, he has potted nine goals and 15 points up to this point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Finally, defenceman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/chychja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jakob Chychrun<\/a> has been a formidable piece on the back end. He is tied for third on the team in points with 14&#8211;over halfway to his total last season&#8211;and has been extremely steady in the defensive zone.
