Here\u2019s our look at this date in hockey history for February 7th featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/sittlda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darryl Sittler<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Today in Hockey History<\/h2>\n<h3>Darryl Sittler Records 10 Points<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1976:<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/leafs\/\" target=\"_self\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> forward has the greatest offensive performance in a single game. Sittler gets six goals and four assists in a 10-point night in an 11-4 home win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/bruins\/\" target=\"_self\">Boston Bruins<\/a>. He moves past <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/conneal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alec Connell<\/a> for first place on the all-time shutout list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1956:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/redwings\/\" target=\"_self\">Detroit Red Wings<\/a> winger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/howego01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gordie Howe<\/a> becomes the third player in league history to net 300 career goals. He scores a power-play goal in a 3-2 victory over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/blackhawks\/\" target=\"_self\">Chicago Blackhawks<\/a> to reach the milestone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1965:<\/strong> Howe becomes the first player to score 100 goals against every team with a goal against the Canadiens. Detroit routs Montreal for a 6-0 home victory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1971:<\/strong> Chicago&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hullbo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bobby Hull<\/a> ties Richard on the all-tome goal-scoring list with his 544th career goal in a 1-0 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/penguins\/\" target=\"_self\">Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1985:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/islanders\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Islanders<\/a> forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bossymi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Bossy<\/a> records his 33rd career hat trick in a 7-5 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/rangers\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Rangers<\/a>.
