Scottie Scheffler’s Streak<\/span><\/h2>\n

Scheffler\u2019s top ten streak started last year during the 2025 Players Championship.\u00a0 For almost a year, Scheffler found himself in the top ten in every PGA tournament he played.\u00a0 This came out to 18 events total, 19 if the Hero\u2019s Championship was counted.\u00a0 This is notable because, since 1983, no one has gotten that high.\u00a0 The streak came to an end during <\/a>the Genesis Invitational,<\/a> where Scheffler had a rough start when he finished off round one at 74.\u00a0 As mentioned before, the games can be incredibly close.\u00a0 Scheffler was only a couple of strokes away from the top ten and continuing the streak.\u00a0 However, he still has that streak for the record books, putting him next to some of the best players the PGA has seen.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Highest Streaks<\/span><\/h2>\n

Before Scheffler, in modern golf, two major players appear next to this record.\u00a0 Tiger Woods had a top ten consecutive streak at eleven events.\u00a0 Scheffler may be a long way from beating Woods\u2019 No. 1 record, but he\u2019s beaten one of his streaks.\u00a0 The next player with twelve events is Vijay Singh.\u00a0 After Singh, there is a gap before Scheffler, meaning that his record is now in a comfortable position and safe from being broken in the near future.\u00a0 The record for the longest streak in all of golf history goes to Byron Nelson back during the 1940s.\u00a0 His streak was ended at 65 events, a record that is a long time away from being broken.\u00a0 A player who was so good that the golf courses had to be overhauled in order to keep up with him.\u00a0 Now Scheffler\u2019s record can be displayed alongside Nelson\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scheffler Eyeing More Records.<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0\u00a0With another achievement for his books<\/a>, Scottie Scheffler still has a few more he\u2019s looking to accomplish.\u00a0 The world no. 1 is still on his way to keeping his streak at the top for the longest consecutive run.\u00a0 He\u2019s still a few years away from breaking Tiger Woods\u2019 record, but he\u2019s not stopping soon.\u00a0 There\u2019s also the career grand slam; all Scheffler needs is the US Open this year, and he has that title in the bag.\u00a0 With records like these, Scheffler is finding himself as the best player on the Tour right now.\u00a0 If he keeps up, he\u2019ll be going down in golf history in the same way Tiger Woods and Byron Nelson have, as a game-changing player that the sport becomes known for.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
