A similar reality the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/golf\/tony-finau-joins-jordan\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"> PGA<\/a> Tour has offered for now 62-year-old, Vijay Singh. Singh is a 34 time Tour winner, who has been a part of the Tour since 1993 and still showing why he deserves recognition. With his most recent action being the Sony open in Hawaii, Singh shocked many in attendance over the weekend with strong play. Ultimately making the cut deep into the final rounds of play for a 40th place tie, and $31,522 in<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/golf\/rory-mcilroy-just-told-two-golf-stars-to-pay-6-million-and-fans-are-not-having-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"> earnings<\/a> for the tournament. Since a little over a decade having played full time on the Tour, Singh clearly still has some left in the tank.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fresh As Ever Before\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last those have seen of Singh came in a 2024 Masters Tournament showing, where he tied for 58th place and earned $45,000. Now in an unexpected return to the Tour in Hawaii, he reminded those why he is so highly respected in the sport of golf. Even being inducted into the Golf Hall Of Fame just by the age of 43-years-old, he showed early on how high his ceiling could be.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPlaying the regular Tour is a lot more pressure, I think, to play well,\u201d Singh <a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/news\/vijay-singh-rejoining-pga-tour-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said.<\/a> \u201cThere\u2019s a lot more work required to go out there and be ready to play. I practice more when I play the regular Tour. Now with a chance to get back into the full swing of things, the veteran understands the challenge ahead of him if he becomes fully committed once again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPlaying the Champions tour, it\u2019s a lot more relaxing for me. When I started playing there, I don\u2019t want to come back here,&#8221; Singh <a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/news\/vijay-singh-rejoining-pga-tour-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said.<\/a> &#8220;Like, it\u2019s so easy to play there, you get practice rounds in the cart and pro-am in the cart. Over here, it\u2019s a full four days, plus two extra days of playing and walking.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Singh Staying Optimistic\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no set in stone confirmation of the long time veteran being expected to play a full time schedule within the PGA Tour this season. The age of Singh is the most prominent factor at play right now, adding a recent undisclosed injury that managed to snap his 31 consecutive Masters Tournament appearances streak.
