The NBC Golf analyst openly criticized Bryson DeChambeau ahead of this week\u2019s Ryder Cup, saying that the 32-year-old was more concerned with gaining attention rather than winning for the Ryder Cup.<\/p>\n

How DeChambeau Came Under Fire From Chamblee<\/h3>\n

Chamblee didn’t mince words when talking about Bryson DeChambeau amid the LIV Golf star’s ongoing feud with Ryder Cup opponent Rory McIlroy. The golf pundit criticized the LIV Golf player while speaking on the Golf Channel\u2019s \u201cLive From the Ryder Cup.\u201d The 63-year-old referred to DeChambeau as a \u201ccaptain\u2019s nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n

McIlroy had previously hit out at DeChambeau for his comments at the \u201cHappy Gilmore 2<\/a>\u201d premiere in New York City this July. The Grand Slam winner accused DeChambeau of trying to gain attention by talking about other people.<\/p>\n

DeChambeau has now addressed Chamblee\u2019s criticisms during practice on Wednesday while signing autographs for fans. A widely circulated video shows the U.S. Open champion looking down at the camera. \u201cDid Brandel say something yesterday? I don\u2019t know what it was,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
