The 31-year-old was hit with a <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/golf\/wyndham-clark-banned-from-oakmont-country-club\/\" target=\"_self\">suspension from Oakmont Country Club<\/a> after he damaged the club&#8217;s locker room in a fit of anger during the U.S. Open.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Clark Reveals He&#8217;s Working To Meet Set Conditions<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After suspending the 2023 U.S. Open winner, Oakmont notified its members of the conditions Clark must meet to return to the country club. The 31-year-old also apologized again for his actions and stated that he was willing to give back to the community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cYeah, we reached out and we wanted to do that,\u201d Clark said. \u201cObviously it&#8217;s a no-brainer to pay for the damages; that was a given. Then obviously all the apologies, and I want to give back to the community because I hurt a great place in Pittsburgh, so I wanted to do anything I can to show them that what happened there was not a reflection of who I am and won&#8217;t happen again. But I want to show them who I really am with the apology and the things I&#8217;m going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Clark \u201cPretty Open\u201d About Mental Shift<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Clark recorded his best finish at a major since he won the US Open in 2023. The American had missed four cuts in eight major starts but ended The Open tied for fourth with rounds of 66-66-65 following an opening 76. The PGA Tour star also spoke about his mental shift and how he&#8217;s trying to prevent his anger issues from happening again. The Oakmont incident wasn&#8217;t the first time Clark has been involved in a fit of rage.
