Rickie Fowler\u2019s Performance<\/span><\/h2>\n

It has been a long time since Rickie Fowler brought home a trophy.\u00a0 The last one was at the Rocket Mortgage Classic back in 2023.\u00a0 Although this year\u2019s Rocket Mortgage was something to behold, with Aldrich Potgieter getting his first professional victory in the PGA, Fowler fell behind.\u00a0 He was cut in the first half, but that isn\u2019t to say that he has been performing badly.\u00a0 Fowler was rarely cut this season and has finished in the top twenty in a handful of events.\u00a0 This has been the year that Fowler started getting back on his game.\u00a0 He is currently looking to bring home a trophy once again and improve his FedEx Cup standing.\u00a0 Fowler is looking to do that through the Open Championship coming up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rickie Fowler Heading To Royal Portrush<\/span><\/h2>\n

During the John Deere Classic, Rickie Fowler played his best and managed to get into the top 20.\u00a0 This was enough to earn him a spot in the last major of the year.\u00a0 He has opted to skip the Scottish Open this week<\/a> to focus on preparing for the Open and other events like the 3M Open.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fowler is eyeing a victory in the near future, and his performance is only proving he means business.\u00a0 Especially after the way he played at the John Deere Classic.\u00a0 The PGA Tour Twitter account made the announcement at the start of June<\/a> after Fowler’s top-ten finish at the Memorial Tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

This also confirmed that Fowler will be able to see his family cheering him on the sidelines during the Major.<\/span><\/p>\n

Competition is going to be stiff at the Open in Northern Ireland.\u00a0 Being the last major of the season, all the top players on the field will be vying for first.\u00a0 The career grand slam is always a great achievement for these athletes.\u00a0 This is what Rickie Fowler will have to deal with if he wants the victory under his belt.\u00a0 It will be very hard for him, something that is to be expected going into the event.\u00a0 However, with the improvement in his performance this season, the idea of him winning this major is not out of the question.\u00a0 Needless to say, the Open Championship is going to be pretty interesting.\u00a0 The only thing missing is a good rainstorm in the lead-up to cause problems during the practice rounds, just like the previous majors this year.<\/span><\/p>\n
