Rory McIlroy has left fans stunned at the Genesis Scottish Open after debuting a new look. The four-time major champion showed up at The Renaissance Club with a brand-new haircut. Fans were shocked to see that the 2025 Masters winner<\/a> had gotten rid of his familiar curls and now sports a sharp, buzzed style that left many doing double takes.<\/p>\n

McIlroy’s New Hairstyle Leave Fans Stunned<\/h2>\n

McIlroy has rarely made headlines for his appearance, but that has changed at the Genesis Scottish Open where his shorter haircut took center stage. The Irishman surprised his peers, fans and reporters when he showed up to The Renaissance Club with a new haircut on Wednesday. Many fans on social media have been reacting since the pictures flooded various platforms.<\/p>\n

The timing of the makeover also caught people\u2019s attention. The 36-year-old has recently been in the spotlight over his views on the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf situation. With the Open Championship<\/a> just around the corner, some fans wondered if the new look was a mental reset or a fresh start before a major push. Others, however, believe he needs more than a haircut to hit the reset button.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think what Rory needs most is a better attitude, he’s much too snippy considering how successful he has been,\u201d a fan posted.<\/p>\n

Another fan stated that the Irishman’s new haircut indicates that he wouldn’t be talking to the media any time soon.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a lot of grey and he\u2019s still in his thirties.\u201d Another fan believed that the PGA Tour had taken its toll on the Irishman. \u201cThat looks like the white version of Obama after 8 years.
