With the LIV Golf Dallas Tournament underway, fans were eager to see the star players out on the field.\u00a0 For this event, there were a few withdrawals, mostly due to health reasons.\u00a0 For example, Matthew Wolff\u2019s injury drove him off the field<\/a>.\u00a0 Brooks Koepka is much the same, but his woes come from an illness he had coming onto the field.\u00a0 The way he ended his time in Dallas is having fans question if he should even be on the field with his behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooks Koepka On The Field<\/span><\/h2>\n

Koepka has been struggling through the Dallas event due to an illness.\u00a0 The exact illness is not specified, but it isn\u2019t bad enough to keep him off the field.\u00a0 Something like the flu can be ruled out.\u00a0 It is something that can affect how he plays.\u00a0 During the Dallas Tournament, Koepka did start strong with a birdie on the second hole.\u00a0 However, he managed to get two triple bogeys on the fifth and seventh holes.\u00a0 The temperature at the time was near 100 degrees Fahrenheit, on top of the illness.\u00a0 It is a miracle that only three players withdrew from the event on Friday.\u00a0 The real issue is what Koepka did on the ninth tee box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans Respond To Koepka\u2019s Outburst<\/span><\/h2>\n

The real problem came after Brooks Koepka missed his shot while teeing off on the ninth hole.\u00a0 Upon seeing his mistake, he swung his club to the ground and swung his club at a tee marker,<\/a> causing the spectators around him to flinch.\u00a0 Fans immediately took notice of this behavior and immediately called for Koepka to be punished.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenters were saying that Koepka\u2019s behavior does not belong on the field in any case.\u00a0 Some say that his poor behavior should get him barred from the Ryder Cup.\u00a0 One commenter called for an immediate suspension, another who noticed this behavior with other pros was calling them as a whole more and more childish with their outbursts.\u00a0 One commenter called this behavior straight-up dangerous to the people around Koepka.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is worse than anything Wyndham did. He could have injured a patron by doing that.\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a reference to Clark Wyndham\u2019s outburst in the Oakmont Golf Club<\/a> during the US Open that led to some lockers getting destroyed.\u00a0 This was, of course, away from other people, so no one was in the crosshairs, but Koepka wasn\u2019t alone.\u00a0 He was on the field surrounded by spectators who almost got hit by a tee marker.\u00a0 After the outburst, Koepka would withdraw from the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

He Can Come Back<\/span><\/h2>\n

LIV Golf\u2019s official communications Twitter account<\/a> would announce that Brooks Koepka had withdrawn in large part due to his illness.\u00a0 The announcement did specify that Koepka can come back on the weekend for strictly team scoring.\u00a0 Leaving commentators baffled that players could do that.\u00a0 At the time of writing, fans are still wondering if Koepka will encounter any penalties for putting spectators in physical danger.\u00a0 This is not the first time this year that there have been outbursts like this.\u00a0 McIlroy tossed his club<\/a>, and there is also the aforementioned locker incident.\u00a0 Fans are demanding that this behavior be cracked down on, especially when equipment goes flying.<\/span><\/p>\n
