Tour Studios Launches First Show Called &#8220;The Drop&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After months of preparation, PGA Tour Studios is now releasing its first weekly show.\u00a0 The new show, called The Drop, is presented by the emergency cleanup service, Servpro, a partner of the Tour since 2014.\u00a0 This new show will help fans connect more with the players and be more informed on what\u2019s happening behind the scenes.\u00a0 All directly from the PGA Tour every Monday.\u00a0 Now, where can fans see it, and what can they expect from it?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What The Drop Will Do<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Drop is a half-hour program that will see a different guest each week.\u00a0 <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.pgatour.com\/video\/shows\/6372345660112\/sneak-peek-at-the-drop-first-weekly-show-originating-from-pga-tour-studios\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The sneak peek the Tour released<\/a> sets the tone pretty well.\u00a0 The show will be hosted by Lauren Withrow and Matt Every, with four other anchors on hand who can tap in throughout the season.\u00a0 The tone is more of a casual, laid-back feel, more like how friends catch up on the highlights.\u00a0 For its inaugural broadcast, fans saw Jordan Spieth and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/2025\/03\/02\/luke-clanton-pga-tour-card\/\" target=\"_self\">Luke Clanton, one of the Tour\u2019s freshest faces<\/a>.\u00a0 Other players will rotate in throughout the show&#8217;s airing.\u00a0 The new studio is filled with excitement for their first show, as Michael Riceman expressed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to feature Jordan and Luke in our inaugural episode of \u2018The Drop,\u2019\u201d said Michael Riceman, senior vice president, content and production.\u00a0 \u201cWith the investment in PGA Tour Studios, we are better equipped than ever to bring our sport closer to our ever-growing fan base.\u00a0 This new studio format allows the team to bring a fresh dynamic approach to our latest original series.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Drop will also be a bit like <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/2025\/01\/25\/announcement-netflix-show-full-swing\/\" target=\"_self\">Netflix&#8217;s popular show Full Swing<\/a> in the sense that fans will see behind-the-scenes stuff with their favorite players.\u00a0 Unlike full swing, fans can\u2019t binge an entire season until the season ends.\u00a0 It also has the advantage of being more of a news broadcast.\u00a0 Being able to see the players fresh out of an event when the event is still fresh in the public consciousness.\u00a0 Fans can also look forward to seeing The Drop cover side Tours like the Korn Ferry Tour to see what fresh faces are trying for a tour card.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When and Where Can Fans Find This Show<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Drop has an eight o\u2019clock airtime on Monday evenings.\u00a0 The show will be airing on The Golf Channel, the official PGA Tour YouTube channel, and FAST Channels.\u00a0 The main show will be aired from the Tour\u2019s headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.\u00a0 Additionally, with anchors reporting from events as they happen.\u00a0 The Studio is based in a prime location for all things golf.\u00a0 As the studio has access to the PGA archives.\u00a0 Fans can look forward to seeing historic footage from past events of the old greats.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PGA Tour Studios\u2019 Future Plans<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PGA Tour Studios is also planning on creating a show for Fridays to cover the 36-hole cut.\u00a0 \u00a0On Sunday morning a pregame show for the final rounds of an event.\u00a0 For now, it\u2019s just a Monday show, but being directly controlled and supported by the PGA.\u00a0 Fans can look forward to seeing everything unfold straight from the horse\u2019s mouth.\u00a0 This new studio has big plans, and The Drop is just the
