There have been plenty of talking points in the past three tournaments. Adrian Meronk sprang a surprise in the season-opening event to record a first-time win. Joaquin Niemann followed it up with an outstanding performance in Australia to clinch the title while Sergio Garcia strolled to a dominant victory in Hong Kong to secure the LIV win.

As LIV heads to Singapore, many questions have been asked about who the likely favorites for the title are. Notably, there is a big shout for Jon Rahm as the Spaniard aims to finally deliver his first LIV victory. Rahm has always been tipped to excel in previous tournaments and for the third year in a row, he has ranked at the top in all the leagues he has played in. The 30-year old was also the best player in the world on the PGA Tour in 2023.

A John Rahm LIV Victory is Due

Rahm’s first season in LIV Golf ended in considerable success as he finished at the top of the individual standings. He is currently second place on the LIV Golf leaderboard, although he hasn’t won any event yet. Rahm has recorded a T-2 and two sixth-place finishes, he would definitely be eager to finally win an event that has eluded him so far. Could this be the year Rahm eventually delivers his first LIV titles?

All eyes will be on Jon Rahm going into the tournament as he’s yet to claim his first individual victory on the tour. Despite his impressive form and consistent top-10 finishes, Rahm is still searching for that elusive win.

Rahm’s stats are impressive. He boasts the second-lowest stroke average on the tour and is tied for first in both par-4 and par-5 scoring. These numbers suggest that he has the game to take it all the way and claim his first LIV Golf title. While an individual win has evaded him so far, Rahm has still tasted success on the tour. He’s celebrated two team wins with Legion XIII, demonstrating that he’s no stranger to winning ways.

Rahm Eager to Build on His LIV Experience

“I thoroughly enjoyed it,” Rahm said as he reminisced about 2024. “Being able to go to places like Adelaide, Hong Kong, and Singapore was so much fun,” he added. “I hadn’t played in that part of the world before, and to see the crowd, the love they had for us and the support for the game, was heartwarming. It’s been a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait for 2025 and some new destinations.”

As Rahm waits to get going in Singapore, many fans will be watching to see if he’ll finally deliver his first LIV victory.

Main Photo Credit: © Matt Marton-Imagn Images

The fourth tournament of the 2025 LIV Golf season will be held in Singapore as star golfers begin preparations for the Saudi-backed league.
