Tiger Woods<\/a> and the PGA Tour have both confirmed that the American will not be featuring at The Players Championship. The 49-year old was left out of the final field for the TPC event at the Sawgrass next week. Woods showed glimpses of his vintage ball-striking in the tech-infused indoor league, TGL as he made his final appearance of the inaugural season on Tuesday. The match ended in defeat for his team, Jupiter Links, as they were soundly beaten 9-1 by Atlanta Drive Golf Club.<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated Players Championship<\/a> will take place at the PGA\u2019s base in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida next week. This is the final year in which Woods is exempt for the competition after his win at the 2019 Masters.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had so many other things to do with the Tour and trying to do other things. Once I start feeling a little bit better and start getting into it, I\u2019ll start looking at the schedule.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
