Another excellent display from the Canaries who have found a newfound resilience in September, and Norwich<\/a> will be pleased with their progress. But who shone in the most recent outing?<\/p>\n

Reading 1-2 Norwich City – Norwich City Player Ratings<\/h2>\n

Angus Gunn<\/strong> \u2013 7<\/p>\n

An assured display from the young keeper. Gunn stood a imperious figure in the dying embers at the Madejski, yet the on loan Manchester City goalkeeper showed his demanding qualities as he continues to establish himself as Norwich\u2019s number one. A minute criticism of his positioning for the Royals equaliser, but that doesn\u2019t damper a excellent performance from Gunn.<\/p>\n

Ivo Pinto<\/strong> \u2013 7<\/p>\n

This is a character quickly establishing himself as captain. Pinto provides athleticism on the right side which is notably nonexistent on his absence. Pinto defended resolutely but should also be praised for his discipline of late, often a man keen to attack and maraud; his selfless defending shouldn\u2019t go under the radar.<\/p>\n

Christoph Zimmermann<\/strong> \u2013 8<\/p>\n

A colossus. A skyscraper of a defender who\u00a0was paramount for the defending against the aerial bombardment Reading deployed in the latter stages of the match. Zimmermann is adjusting nicely to Championship football<\/a>, and his developing partnership with Timm Klose shouldn\u2019t go unnoticed. A fourth tier centre back? Certainly not, an absolute bargain.<\/p>\n

Timm Klose<\/strong> \u2013 8<\/p>\n

As has been the norm of late, Klose put in another performance which oozed pure class. Klose has a point to prove following his self admitted struggle last season, but continued performances will adhere him back to Norwich City supporter\u2019s hearts. He is looking like the player who nearly ensured City\u2019s Premier League survival and impressed so significantly prior to his injury.<\/p>\n

James Husband<\/strong> \u2013 8<\/p>\n

A difficult beginning to his career in Norfolk, but Husband seems to finding his feet and is providing a consistency to the side. Not one who will grab headlines, but Husband\u2019s performance as an understudy for Marco Steipermann, who was on paternity leave, was pleasing. He did well to thwart McClearly\u2019s first half chance. Improving.<\/p>\n

Tom Trybull<\/strong> \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Not as headline grabbing as previous outings, but regular glimpses of quality throughout. An industrious midfielder, Trybull has, rightfully, been the subject of rave reviews amongst the Canaries nation, but this was a less flashy but just as crucial performance. His ball retention is exceptional, particularly in pockets of tight space.<\/p>\n

Alex Tettey<\/strong> \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Much like Trybull, a cultured performance from the experienced Norwegian. Adds a cohesive pivot between the defensive third and the midfield, Tettey has added much needed solidarity on his return to the starting eleven. His defensive positioning sublime, his leadership superb and his tenacity needed, Tettey is proving to Farke why he deserves a new contract.<\/p>\n

Wes Hoolahan<\/strong> – 7<\/p>\n

Undoubtedly a more central player, the veteran proved he still has the physique required to manage this level of football. Matched Trybull in regards to tackles and provided technical quality down the right. Perhaps missing a bit too often, but covered plenty of yards and a quota of effort. This man is not done yet.<\/p>\n

James Maddison<\/strong> \u2013 9<\/p>\n

No superlative carries enough weight to describe the quality contained within his right boot. A stunning freekick backs up a wonderful strike against Middlesbrough. Maddison is looking a prized asset that, if he continues to shine in the manner he currently is, will become Norwich\u2019s record sale. Whisper it quietly, but this lad has serious talent.<\/p>\n

Josh Murphy<\/strong> \u2013 6<\/p>\n

A difficult and frustrating evening for the young winger. Murphy\u2019s professionalism was publically brought to order by Farke, but Murphy\u2019s response seemingly sealed his manager\u2019s approval. Murphy will most certainly praying for better days at the office, but a satisfactory display from a player with so much more to give.<\/p>\n

Cameron Jerome<\/strong> \u2013 8<\/p>\n

Jerome has resembled a unhappy and frustrated figure of late, but this outing looked more suited to the striker. Jerome has struggled to adapt to Farke\u2019s avant-garde style, but it seems Farke has adjusted to Jerome. A culprit of the goal conceded, but redeemed himself with a bullet header<\/a>.
