The <\/span><b>Reds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> produced some scintillating football to make it seven points from nine in <\/span><b>London<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <strong>J\u00fcrgen<\/strong><\/span><b>\u00a0Klopp<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has reason to\u00a0be ecstatic at his side&#8217;s away performances in the capital so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Team News<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Klopp had two major changes from the side that beat <\/span><b>Leicester City. Nice passing and penetration up front forced Chelsea to concede territory as they dropped deeper. A cross off a set piece caused problems as the Blues defenders lost Dejan Lovren. The <\/span><b>Croatian <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">skillfully kept his measured shot down and beat <\/span><b>Thibaut Courtois<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Stamford Bridge then witnessed an early goal of the season contender. <\/span><b>Jordan Henderson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> found the ball sitting nicely in space about 25 yards from goal. The England international struck a beautiful curler into the top corner. Henderson wheeled away in delight and soaked up the Reds&#8217; fans celebrations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Second Half<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chelsea started the second half with some sustained possession. Liverpool looked happy to manage the game and surrendered the initiative.\u00a0<\/span><b>Daniel Sturridge <\/b>was withdrawn<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and replaced with the hard-running <\/span><b>Divock Origi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Chelsea pressured hard and the home crowd responded with increased atmosphere. <\/span><b>Nemanja Mati\u0107<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was then released on a late run into the Liverpool penalty area, and he squared intelligently for <\/span><b>Diego Costa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to side foot home. Chelsea now had the momentum and Liverpool reshuffled by pushing <\/span><b>Sadio Man\u00e9<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> up to support Origi. The game settled into a pattern with Chelsea pressing and Liverpool eager to counter attack. Origi was denied by a brilliant Courtois save after the <strong>Belgian<\/strong> striker placed a powerful header on the Chelsea goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Players In, Players Out<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Klopp replaced Coutinho with the defensive <\/span><b>Lucas Leiva. Antonio Conte <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">decided on attacking changes with, <\/span><b>Cesc <\/b><b>F\u00e0bregas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><b> Pedro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Victor Moses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> entering the fray. Lucas fouled the galloping <\/span><b>Eden Hazard <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">late on and the resulting free kick presented a great opportunity to draw level. F\u00e0bregas smashed the free kick into the well drilled Liverpool wall, and Reds fans exhaled. Liverpool\u00a0introduced <\/span><b>Kevin Stewart<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> late on to bolster the rearguard. Resolute defending in the final minutes vitally won the Merseyside team all three points.\u00a0<\/span><b>John .W. Henry <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">summed up Liverpool&#8217;s evenings work with a simple tweet of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/John_W_Henry\/status\/776886894835687424\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Huge!<\/a>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liverpool are most definitely on a roll in the Premier League. Based on current form, they look like genuine top four contenders. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liverpool Takeaways<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Defending: <\/span><\/i><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liverpool\u2019s swashbuckling attacking play has been well received by Premier League analysts so far this year. The big questions surround their ability to defend. Chelsea pressed for most of the second half and consequently Liverpool retreated. Solid\u00a0defensive work secured a vital three points towards the Reds challenge for the top four places. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Klopp is decisive. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liverpool were under pressure immediately in the second half. The Reds coach\u00a0decided to replace Sturridge with the pressing game of Divock Origi. Sturridge went straight down the tunnel. Klopp, it seems, pays little\u00a0heed to big names. He\u00a0acts when the team needs a different formation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Geggenpressing. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liverpool\u2019s midfield put in an immense amount of running. Chelsea players barely had a controlling touch due to Reds players closing them down. Jordan Henderson\u2019s wonder strike deserves all accolades. <\/span><b>Georginio Wijnaldum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, however, also had a very impressive game.
