Then against Egypt, they found themselves two goals down but staged an epic late comeback to win the game once again by three goals to two.<\/p>\n<p>Switzerland had a slightly less stressful route to this stage by first beating Algeria 2-0 but then needing a penalty shootout to dispatch Colombia. The Swiss could make history here and progress past the quarter-final stages of a World Cup for the first time, and in the process knock out the defending champions.<\/p>\n<p>At 39 years old, Lionel Messi is still Argentina\u2019s main man and should he produce as he can, Switzerland may struggle to contain their opponents for long.
