Three Oxford United Players Who Could Benefit Under Aaron Ramsey<\/h2>\n

Mark Harris<\/h3>\n

A former teammate at international level, Mark Harris already has a relationship with the new head coach.<\/p>\n

The duo would have been in several squads together but only shared the field on two separate occasions, although they did end in Wales wins.<\/p>\n

It’s no secret that Harris struggled to adapt in his two years in the Championship but during the League One promotion season, the striker struck 19 goals in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Ramsey will be looking for the 27-year-old to rekindle some of that form and he will know his strengths and weaknesses already.<\/p>\n

Tyler Goodrham<\/h3>\n

Academy graduate Tyler Goodrham struggled with injury last season so will be looking for another breakthrough campaign.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old managed just 13 league appearances before an ankle injury curtailed his season in January.<\/p>\n

But playing as a number ten, Ramsey will use his own experiences in that role and pass some of that wisdom, technique and style onto the Oxford star boy.<\/p>\n

Jamie McDonnell<\/h3>\n

While Ramsey was often deployed as a more attacking midfielder, the former Wales man often covered in a deeper role.<\/p>\n

This will help January signing Jamie McDonnell, who struggled to establish himself as a first team regular last season.<\/p>\n

However, that was largely due to the form of Brentford loanee, Yunus Konak, but McDonnell will be looking to make the role his own this season and the support from the new head coach could help to level up his game.<\/p>\n
