    Scott McKenna remains a doubt with a calf injury that has seen him miss the first two games of the World Cup. Aaron Hickey is out injured. Kieran Tierney should be fit after coming off against Morocco.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Head coach Steve Clarke must decide on how to approach the game. A 4-4-2 formation was used in the win over Haiti, but Clarke switched to a more defensive 4-4-1-1 formation against Morocco, where they were defeated 1-0. Scotland offered little in attack in their last game, which will have worried Clarke as it did their supporters; however, he will be aware that a draw or even a narrow defeat could be enough to see them into the knockout stages.<\/p>\n

    Ben Gannon-Doak could return to the starting lineup to give the Scots more attacking pace and flair.<\/p>\n

    Steve Clarke spoke about formations during his press conference. He said<\/a>: “I’ve got the Scottish media here and they kill me for being too conservative.
