Signing a player who brings confidence to the squad will be huge for Spurs. De Zerbi will be eager to instil belief in his team, and Van Hecke is a great player to help him do that.<\/p>\n

Brighton had identified the Spurs defender Luka Vuskovic as a player they want, but the North London club rejected a \u00a335m offer. Tottenham\u2019s progress in their pursuit of Van Hecke is not tied to any transfer involving Vuskovic. It appears personal terms will not be an issue.<\/p>\n
