Spurs\u2019 victory against Wolves came at a cost, as Xavi Simons and Dominic Solanke were forced off. Simons\u2019 injury was confirmed as a ruptured ACL, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Solanke suffered a hamstring injury. When asked whether the striker could face Villa at Friday\u2019s press conference, <\/span>De Zerbi replied<\/span><\/a>: \u201cVilla, no, for sure, then we will see.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Guglielmo Vicario remains sidelined as he continues to recover from hernia surgery, and his manager confirmed: \u201cHe\u2019s not available yet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

James Maddison trained \u201cvery well\u201d this week, but when asked if the midfielder could feature, De Zerbi answered: \u201cI would like to play with him\u2026 but we have to consider the physical condition.\u201d While his status for this match is unclear, the Italian added: \u201cI think he can be important in the next three games.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
