The Italian now welcomes his former club to north London, with the Lilywhites in desperate need of momentum. Having not won a league match since December, three points would provide a significant boost to their survival chances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brighton enters today\u2019s match in far better circumstances following a 2-0 victory over Burnley. The Seagulls are the division\u2019s form team, winning five of their last six matches. Brighton are currently ninth, and a fourth consecutive victory would see them close the gap further on those above. Fabian H\u00fcrzeler is now aiming to replicate De Zerbi\u2019s feat, and bring European football back to the Amex Stadium.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cristian Romero suffered an injury which forced him off against Sunderland. Speaking at Friday\u2019s press conference, De Zerbi explained the extent of the injury. <\/span>Tottenham\u2019s head coach said<\/span><\/a>: \u201cHe\u2019s suffering because he can\u2019t play for us again this season.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Guglielmo Vicario remains out after he underwent hernia surgery. While the Italian will miss the Brighton match, De Zerbi emphasised his importance, saying \u201cVicario is another top guy, I\u2019m looking forward to working with him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Two midfielders are set to return. <\/span>De Zerbi confirmed<\/span><\/a> : \u201cRodrigo Bentancur is available to play, I don\u2019t know if he starts the game or not.\u201d He added: \u201cBissouma is available 100% more than he was for the Sunderland game.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

While James Maddison was seen training this week, the coach offered a cautious reply when asked about the midfielder\u2019s return: \u201cI don\u2019t know yet. I don\u2019t want to push too much because we lost Kudus in this way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at Friday\u2019s press conference, H\u00fcrzeler was asked about Milner\u2019s status <\/span>and replied<\/span><\/a>: \u201cYes, he still will be out. He\u2019s getting close and besides that, everything\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
