Following an excellent win against Wrexham, the Hornets are clearly a tough side to take on. They are the sixth-best side for home form, with just four defeats at Vicarage Road all season. They will certainly be hoping to utilise their strong squad in this weekend’s clash.<\/p>\n

Although they are dealing with their own injury issues, Ed Still’s side still has good depth. The notable additions of Matthew Pollock and Mamadou Doumbia certainly helped in midweek, with the centre-half being described<\/a> as ‘wonderful’. Similarly, Doumbia also made a difference, which didn’t go unnoticed. \u201cMamadou Doumbia has been out for three games, came back and won the game for us at the end,\u201d Still explained. Therefore, with the Hornets even stronger and carrying the momentum of a big home win, it’s tough to see whether Leicester can react.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leicester City Team News<\/h3>\n

Despite picking up a long-awaited clean sheet and a win against Bristol City, Leicester couldn’t make the most of its momentum. A second defeat at the hands of QPR this season in dominant fashion as they found the net another three times.\u00a0 This poor form at home is hindering the Foxes’ form, with Rowett viewing away games as a good opportunity to perform. He said<\/a>: \u201cWe’ve shown in our three away games we can more than match any opponent. Maybe away games at the moment allow us to play with a bit more freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in more positive news, there are no fresh injury concerns. Jannik Vestergaard, Asmir Begovic and Aaron Ramsey could all soon be available, whilst Harry Souttar is back in certain sessions. The Australian international missed all of 2025 and may not play again for the Foxes due to his severe lack of match fitness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
