Chelsea came into the game, desperate to return to winning ways after two disappointing draws against Burnley and Leeds United.<\/p>\n

Arsenal were understandably on a high after defeating Tottenham 4-1 in their last game. Saliba gave the Gunners the lead, turning in a Bukayo Saka corner, before a Piero Hincapie own goal drew Chelsea level.<\/p>\n

Chelsea started the second half brightly, looking dangerous on the counterattack. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men were back in front after 66 minutes when Jurrien Timber nodded home. Chelsea\u2019s hopes of gaining a point were hit badly when Pedro Neto received a yellow card for complaining after Timber\u2019s goal, and then fouled Gabriel Martinelli to receive his second yellow.<\/p>\n

Chelsea almost stole a point at the death, when a curling cross from Alejandro Garnacho had to be tipped away by David Raya. Liam Delap also had a goal correctly ruled out in stoppage time. A massive win for Arsenal, but a big setback for Chelsea, who have a tough run of fixtures until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Rosenior Not Happy With His Team<\/h3>\n

In the post-match presser, Liam Rosenior said: \u201cI think it’s clear where our strengths are and where we need to improve on. To concede two goals from set plays is really disappointing. To concede another red card is really disappointing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Addressing the goals they are conceding, he said: \u201cSome of the goals that we’re conceding, they’re just not acceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n
