Despite picking up only two points, the performances have been much better, with the Foxes unlucky not to have picked up a first win of the month. In terms of the Middlesbrough game, defensively, City were more organised, and perhaps should have got a clean sheet if not for another mistake. It’s clear Rowett is making a difference, but will it be enough to remain in the division? Next up is a big game at the King Power Stadium, so here is the Leicester Predicted Lineup as they take on Norwich City.

Leicester Team News & Predicted Lineup vs Norwich City

How Leicester City Have Lined Up Recently

In Rowett’s second game in charge, a fairly similar starting eleven took to the hallowed turf. Asmir Begovic continued his run of games in between the sticks, as out-of-form Jakub Stolarczyk remains on the bench. With many defenders out with injury, Rowett was only left with Caleb Okoli and Ben Nelson at centre-back. Both players had their own bright moments throughout the game, with Okoli netting in the opener. At full-back, Luke Thomas and Ricardo Pereira started, as Victor Kristiansen fell out due to injury.

As for midfield, Harry Winks once again partnered fellow Spurs academy graduate Oliver Skipp. Whilst the duo have put together a decent run of games, Jordan James’ return is likely to skew everything. Just ahead of them was Divine Mukasa. The teenager has been a revelation since arriving on deadline day, with him already tallying five goal contributions.

Read More:Leicester Appoint Former Player

Moving into attack, Bobby De Cordova Reid started after serving his three-match suspension. The Jamaican international replaced Jeremy Monga, as the competition for places continues to soar. Meanwhile off the left, Stephy Mavididi’s goal drought continued. It’s now been almost three months since the 27-year-old last scored in league action. In contrast, Patson Daka is picking up form lately with his energy and pace, offering something different to Jordan Ayew. Whilst he isn’t scoring goals, his work outside of it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="1ffbae35d432d0d71911ca2a0b209fbb" image-id="prsirRzeHwwy" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 2700px; aspect-ratio: 2700/1800;" ></smartframe-embed>

Leicester City’s Recent Form And Tactics

Throughout Rowett’s first two games in the hot seat, Leicester look much more competitive. Mukasa is excelling, as he has the confidence and technical ability to be the difference maker. It was his assist that led to Okoli’s opener against Boro, and a few days earlier in Stoke, he was a clear standout. The midfield partnership of Skipp and Winks is also working well, with both players complementing each other. To pick up a point away at the Riverside is huge, especially when considering Boro boasts the third-best home record all season.

Read More:All The Details of Leicester’s PSR Ruling

Defensively, Leicester look much better, and if they just iron out some of the mistakes, they could begin to pick up momentum. Against Stoke, no one picked up Ben Wilmot, who found the net in the 89th minute to steal a point. Furthermore, in midweek, Okoli’s poor passing gave the home side an opening which they made the most of. Few sides can afford to make these careless mistakes, and it seems that Leicester are still being plagued by them.

The next few games will be crucial for the Foxes as they remain in the relegation zone. Norwich and Ipswich make up an East Anglian double header, where Leicester desperately need to pick up a win. They beat both sides earlier in the season, which could bode well for the clashes. Following on from this, City then host both Bristol City and QPR at home. Getting results at the King Power Stadium will be pivotal towards the ongoing relegation battle. Rowett’s making the difference, but the next few games will be a real test to see if the club can remain in the second division.

Leicester City Team News

Heading into the game at King Power Stadium, City’s injury issues have been relieved. Both Jordan James and Jamaal Lascelles trained in midweek, which is a major positive. Additionally, Fatawu is also an option after his return against Middlesbrough. In terms of negatives, the likes of Harry Souttar, Aaron Ramsey, Hamza Choudhury, and Jannik Vestergaard are all out for sustained periods.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="e8c3ce70f1ad837bdffb21e2453272b6" image-id="XhXPfee9c9Di" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 6720px; aspect-ratio: 6720/4480;" ></smartframe-embed>

Leicester Predicted Lineup vs Norwich City

GK: Asmir Begovic

RB: Ricardo Pereira

RCB: Caleb Okoli

LCB: Ben Nelson

LB: Luke Thomas

DM: Oliver Skipp

DM: Harry Winks

RW: Abdul Fatawu

AM: Divine Mukasa

LW: Stephy Mavididi

ST: Patson Daka

Since assuming his role as Leicester boss, Gary Rowett has made plenty of positive changes.
