In Thursday\u2019s\u00a0press conference<\/a><\/span>, Andy King confirmed that Jeremy Monga will be ready for the fixture after missing out earlier in the week:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe trained this morning, trained really well, so fingers crossed, we\u2019re hoping and expecting he should be available.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Outside of this, there is long terms absences for the likes of Jannik Vestergaard, Aaron Ramsey and Harry Souttar. When discussing Vestergaard’s recent injury, he stated: \u201cHe\u2019s going to be out for a while. It\u2019s obviously a shame for us; he\u2019s played a lot for us this season.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

With this likely being King’s last game, the Welshman will be desperate to end this tough stint with a win.<\/p>\n

As for the home side, Southampton are in positive form. They have picked up just one defeat in their last seven games, and can carry momentum from a result like Tuesday’s. Tonda Eckert’s side now resides in ninth place, and is just a point off the play-off places.<\/p>\n
