Speaking specifically on Max Dowman\u2019s recovery: \u201cHe\u2019s doing very well, I think he will be with us in a week or so, and then he can pick up the rhythm and be available for us,\u201d said Arteta.<\/p>\n

Arteta was asked about if we will see Mikel Merino before the end of the season:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the doctors were really happy with the way [the surgery] went. Now it\u2019s the start of, obviously, a long process; we\u2019re talking about bone healing. So, we\u2019ll respect the timings, and I\u2019m sure he\u2019s going to do everything he possibly can to speed up that recovery. The timeframes we\u2019re talking about are months – whether it\u2019s three, four or five, we don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Athletic have also reported that Kai Havertz<\/a> has sustained a muscular injury, and will be missing from the game and seemingly for some time.<\/span><\/p>\n
