Reports suggest that Forest are moving for Engels because a deal for Inter Milan\u2019s Davide Frattesi is unlikely to move forward.<\/p>\n

Celtic were not planning to sell Engels, but Forest hope the \u00a314 million will convince them to part ways with the versatile midfielder, who has been praised for his set-piece delivery, with the ex-Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers saying<\/a>: \u201cHis set-piece quality really is world-class, the level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoops manager Martin O\u2019Neill is a keen admirer of Engels, who hasn’t always impressed in his spell at Scotland.<\/p>\n

Aside from his set-piece abilities, Engels is an accomplished passer who works hard on and off the ball. He is equally adept at playing in a deep midfield role or further forward. His incisive passing would be a great asset for Forest for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n
