Everton displayed a defensive nightmare in their 4-2-3-1 formation after a 4-2 defeat against Brentford on January 4. Igor Thiago proved too quick for the Everton defence as he managed to score a hattrick for Brentford. Everton were met with boos from their fans at the full-time whistle after the defensive calamity they witnessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Toffees have managed to collect points and keep clean sheets against lower placed teams in the table, whilst struggling to get points from the big teams.
