Ahead of Man Utd\u2019s<\/a> trip to Leeds United, Ruben Amorim<\/a> was asked about the club\u2019s transfer plans, where the Portuguese manager refused to clarify recent comments, while hinting at frustration with the club.<\/p>\n

Amorim Not Keen to Discuss Transfer Plans<\/h3>\n

Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim had previously hinted that transfer business in January was possible, but recently Amorim hinted at some discontent with the club\u2019s transfer plans:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have the feeling that if we have to play a perfect 3-4-3, we need to spend a lot of money and we need time.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I\u2019m starting to understand that that is not going to happen. So, maybe I have to adapt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of the Leeds fixture, Amorim was asked to clarify his previous comments, but the Red Devils boss gave a spiky response: \u201cI don\u2019t want to talk about that,\u201d the United boss said when asked to clarify what he had meant. \u201cI just focus on the Leeds game.\u201d<\/p>\n

When pushed on the comments, Amorim still refused to discuss: \u201cNo, no, no. But I (don\u2019t) want to talk about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The United boss was further asked if there was any change in the club\u2019s plans, or had he been told something different by director of football Jason Wilcox: \u201cI don\u2019t want to talk about that, but you are very smart, so\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim’s Future at Man Utd<\/h3>\n

The comments by Ruben Amorim are alarming, but not a disaster. His comments are cryptic and hint that he\u2019s not happy with something. Despite the improvements this season, it’s clear Amorim and the Man Utd board have some work to do to close the gap on Arsenal and Manchester City.<\/p>\n
