Matt Phillips<\/strong> – Thigh<\/p>\n

Still no news on a return for midfielder, Matt Phillips. The 34-year-old has been out since September.<\/p>\n

Hidde ter Avest<\/strong> – Hamstring<\/p>\n

Full-back Hidde ter Avest remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Brodie Spencer has been playing while Sam Long got minutes on New Year’s Day so it’s a position that the U’s do have cover.<\/p>\n

Ben Davies<\/strong> – Knock<\/p>\n

Rangers loanee Ben Davies is still out with a knock. The defender hasn’t been involved in any of the three games under caretaker boss, Craig Short.<\/p>\n

Nik Prelec<\/strong> – Groin<\/p>\n

Another loanee, forward Nik Prelec missed the trip to Ipswich with a groin injury. A timescale on his absence is yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Tyler Goodrham<\/strong> – Ankle<\/p>\n

Academy graduate Tyler Goodrham was forced off after just 22 minutes at Portman Road with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

Przemyslaw Placheta<\/strong> – Calf<\/p>\n

Another to be replaced on New Year’s Day was Polish winger, Przemyslaw Placheta. He has recently come back from injury but was replaced at the break after feeling something in his calf.<\/p>\n

Oxford’s Returning Players<\/h3>\n

Cameron Brannagan<\/strong> – Calf<\/p>\n

Skipper Cameron is close to a return but didn’t make the matchday squad against Ipswich, so this game could come too soon. However, of Oxford’s absentees, he’s probably the closest to full fitness.<\/p>\n

Ben Mee<\/strong> – Hand<\/p>\n

At the start of December, former Burnley defender Ben Mee underwent surgery on a hand injury.<\/p>\n

Chiedozie Ogbene<\/strong> – Hamstring<\/p>\n

Republic of Ireland international Chiedozie Ogbene picked up a hamstring injury during international duty.<\/p>\n

Sydie Peck<\/strong> – Calf<\/p>\n

Young midfielder Sydie Peck has been out with a calf injury he picked up in a 4-0 defeat against Stoke last month. Head coach Chris Wilder said he could be back for their FA Cup game against Mansfield.<\/p>\n

Tom Davies<\/strong> – Calf<\/p>\n

Former Everton midfielder Tom Davies is back in training following a calf injury but won’t be rushed to a return, according to Wilder.<\/p>\n
