Isak Hit by Huge Injury Setback<\/h3>\n

David Ornstein has revealed that struggling Swedish striker Isak is set for a significant spell on the sidelines from a suspected leg break, which he sustained from a challenge in his team\u2019s 2-1 win.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have yet to issue any official confirmation, but Ornstein reports that the scans are set to confirm fears that the striker is set to spend a few months on the sidelines, recovering.<\/p>\n

Isak was a half-time replacement for Conor Bradley and quickly made an impact, converting an assist from fellow summer signing Florian Wirtz. A sliding challenge from Micky van de Ven left the striker in pain and unable to celebrate with his teammates. He ultimately left the field and was replaced by Jeremie Frimpong.<\/p>\n

Liverpool Suffer Setback Due to Isak Injury<\/h3>\n

Isak joined Liverpool in the summer from Premier League rivals Newcastle and has found life tough at Anfield, with the Spurs goal, just his third in all competitions. Fellow summer-signing Hugo Ekitike<\/a> has settled quicker than his teammate.<\/p>\n
