The Gunners were looking relentless following their early-season defeat to Liverpool. Arteta\u2019s team came up against a resolute Chelsea and an in-form Aston Villa recently.<\/p>\n

Arsenal then travelled to Belgium to face Brugge, ultimately returning to winning ways. They lined up in their normal 4-3-3 formation, with David Raya in goal, while Ben White, Christian Norgaard, Piero Hincapie, and Myles Lewis-Skelly formed the defence.<\/p>\n

In the pre-match press conference<\/a>, Arteta gave the latest updates on the availability of William Saliba, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, and Leandro Trossard.<\/p>\n

On the availability of Saliba, Arteta said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to wait and see. Yesterday we didn\u2019t train, so we have an extra day between this afternoon, let\u2019s see if he can be available or not. It remains the same. If you asked me for the Everton game, I think he will be fit; for tomorrow, I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, depends how he feels today. It was a knock that he picked, and he wasn\u2019t feeling comfortable. So again, I think it\u2019s a matter of days, but whether it\u2019s tomorrow or not we\u2019ll see,\u201d said Arteta regarding Timber\u2019s fitness.<\/p>\n

Discussing Rice, the Gunners boss said: \u201cLet\u2019s see how he is today. He was ill, that\u2019s an illness, normally in a few days it gets resolved, but we have to wait and see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trossard has continued to show what a valuable squad player he is for Arsenal, but Arteta couldn\u2019t give too much information on his availability:<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, another one that is a matter of days. It sounds boring, but it\u2019s the reality, so we don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riccardo Calafiori<\/a> will also be missing, as he is suspended for the Wolves clash.<\/div>\n
