Newcastle have had an indifferent season so far, and there will be some of their fanbase who will be more than a little concerned ahead of this fixture.<\/p>\n

Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris has tough decisions to make in both personnel and formation. Here is how we think he will start the game.<\/p>\n

GK Roefs<\/strong>: An ever-present so far this season since arriving in the summer. Has proved to be a bargain at around \u00a310 million.<\/p>\n

RB Mukiele<\/strong>: Versatile, solid defender and long throw expert. Expect all attacking throws from either side to be launched into the box<\/p>\n

CB Alderete<\/strong>: Has formed a good partnership with Dan Ballard since arriving. Strong in defence and a threat in the opposition area.<\/p>\n

CB Ballard<\/strong>: The rock of Sunderland. A powerful and brave defender who is a big threat from set pieces.<\/p>\n

LB Reinildo<\/strong>: Back after an injury kept him out of the last game. Has been improving with every game. Solid in defence and attack-minded.<\/p>\n

CM Xhaka \u00a9<\/strong>: Sunderland’s captain fantastic. Has been a revelation since arriving and leads by example.<\/p>\n

LW Talbi<\/strong>: Young, talented winger capable of scoring big goals against big opposition. Ask Chelsea and Liverpool.<\/p>\n

RW Traore<\/strong>: Experienced and hard-working winger signed from Ajax in the summer. Capable of a bit of magic in tight situations.<\/p>\n

AM Le Fee<\/strong>: A skilful attacking midfielder who can unlock any defence either in open play or via a set piece.<\/p>\n

ST Isidor<\/strong>: Hard-working striker but hasn’t scored since the away win a Chelsea. Due a goal, and this is the type of game he will love.<\/p>\n
