Following the second international break of the season, Leicester City return to action with a well-timed clash against Portsmouth. Both clubs were once owned by the late great Marin Mandaric, and it’s fitting that they play each other following the businessman’s recent death. The relatively new double pivot of Harry Winks and Jordan James once again proved crucial, especially considering James managed a goal and assist against the Swans. Furthermore, in the number 10 role Bobby Decordova Reid started, although he was later replaced by Aaron Ramsey.<\/div>\n

An Adam Idah penalty, dispatched in the 70th minute, did provide the chance of a fifth consecutive draw. However, Fatawu did what he does best. The Ghanaian winger received the ball from James out wide and immediately carried the ball infield to where he could find a shot with his preferred left foot. In a similar vein to his goals against Southampton and Bournemouth<\/a> last year, he found the back of the net with ease from his trademark routine.<\/div>\n

Vestergaard then added to the lead with an instinctive headed finish from close range. In the end, the Foxes took all three points, and what a vital result it was. They now reside in third place with a chance to hone in on Middlesbrough and Coventry.<\/div>\n

Leicester City Injuries to Consider<\/h3>\n
As confirmed by the Spaniard<\/a>, there is just one injury concern. Mavididi remains sidelined as he is still recovering from a small muscular issue. Aside from this, there are no other issues. All players returning from international duty are without injury and in ‘good shape’.<\/div>\n
