Oxford United<\/a> make the short trip up the M4 this weekend when Gary Rowett’s side face Bristol City at Ashton Gate.<\/p>\n

The U’s have had successive home 2-2 draws either side of the international break against Coventry and, more recently, Leicester. However, those two stalemates came after a run of three successive league losses so Gary Rowett is still looking for his first league win of the season.<\/p>\n

Oxford United Travel to Bristol City<\/h2>\n

Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up<\/h3>\n

As for Bristol City, they’ve adapted to life after Liam Manning’s departure reasonably well with three wins and two draws from their five league games. The Robins won 3-0 at crisis club Sheffield Wednesday last time out, having already won on the road at neighbours Sheffield United on the opening day of the campaign. They’ve had a goalless draw and a 4-2 win at home so far this season.<\/p>\n

Oxford welcomed Brodie Spencer back to the bench against Leicester but Matt Phillips was forced off in the second half with injury while Hidde ter Avest also missed that game. Ciaron Brown and Ole Romeny are still out.<\/p>\n

The Robins are without former Oxford defender Luke McNally, along with Cameron Pring, Max O’Leary and Joe Williams, while Josh Stokes also missed the win at Hillsborough.<\/p>\n

Oxford are without a win in the last three meetings between the two sides, losing this fixture 2-1 last season. The U’s also lost 5-1 at Ashton Gate in the Carabao Cup the season before, with their last win coming in the previous meeting in 2014.<\/p>\n
