As reported by Mike McGrath<\/a>, the Foxes have agreed a deal with Leeds United for Justin. Courtesy of a Lukas Nmecha penalty, the Whites kick-started their Premier League return with a 1-0 win against Everton. However, a 5-0 loss at the hands of Arsenal brought Daniel Farke’s side back to reality.<\/p>\n

Justin’s fee to join the Yorkshire-based outfit stands at \u00a310 million, which looks to be a good deal for Leicester. Leeds have already had a busy summer transfer window, as they look to survive in the top division. Noah Okafor, Anton Stach and Jaka Bijol are among the arrivals, whilst also cashing in on Rasmus Kristensen.<\/p>\n

The sale of Justin, who can play in different positions makes him City’s fifth departure of the window. Similarly, Mads Hermansen also returned to the Premier League as he joined West Ham, whilst academy graduate Kasey McAteer is Ipswich’s latest arrival. Conor Coady and Wilfred Ndidi have also departed, as it’s become evident that the club are looking to rebuild after a second relegation in three years.<\/p>\n

How Does This Affect Leicester City?<\/h3>\n

Although Justin has certainly struggled throughout the past few seasons, he still provides many attributes. One of which is his versatility, as he can play comfortably from either the left or right side. In addition to this, he can also play many full-back roles, which further emphasises this trait. Under Enzo Maresca, he often featured as a left centre-back in possession, while under Steve Cooper, he found himself hugging the touchline as a winger at times. Marti Cifuentes further utilised this as Justin has inverted into midfield or played in the half space.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old was a prominent player throughout the Foxes’ dismal campaign last season. Justin often faced major criticism due to his poor performances and mistakes, leading to goals. Whilst this may be fair in some situations, the system was a major reason for this, and often left him incredibly vulnerable. Furthermore, he did have some positive moments, like the braces versus Arsenal and QPR.<\/p>\n

Regardless of the Englishman’s strengths or flaws, the move could become an issue. City is yet to strengthen Cifuentes’ squad with new outfield additions, and with just over a week until the deadline, finding new options may be tough. Victor Kristiansen and Luke Thomas will now become the sole left-back options, and with Ricardo Pereira’s constant injury issues, Cifuentes may have less to work with.
